About the role:

Origin Energy are looking for a Gas Fitter to join our Cavan Terminal in Adelaide. You’ll provide Gas Fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at Origin customer and terminal sites.

• Perform scheduled LPG installations in accordance with codes and standards.
• Participate in residential, commercial, and industrial installations within the designated area.
• Provide expert advice on LPG and Natural gas installations to customers and internal contacts.
• Review existing installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and Origin codes. Provide information or quotes for necessary upgrades.
• Complete all work safely, following Origin's permit to work system.
• Maintain accurate records for bulk tanks, cylinders, and terminals in accordance with statutory and company requirements.
• Prepare quotations for new or upgraded installations, adhering to required codes and standards.

What you will bring?

• You are a trade qualified Gas Fitter, with G and/or I/P license & exposure to LPG and Natural Gas
• Prior domestic experience with exposure to performing B type servicing, breakdowns and installation of gas appliances. Plumbing/Draining and Electrical Licences are desirable, yet not essential
• You place a high priority on searching for new ways to gain efficiency without sacrifice to the customer, service, and safety
• While working unsupervised, your ability to deal with customers and resolve gas related issues and remain calm under pressure is essential
• You possess a current manual Driver’s Licence
